They made a cult movie Leningrad Cowboys go to America, then made a sequel Leningrad Cowboys meet Moses and now the lads with unicorn hairdos and half-metre long pointed shoes will do WOMADELAIDE. Highly respected musicians in Finland, the ten cowboys have made their fortune as "the world's worst rock 'n roll band" in an hilarious parody of a struggling Russian rockband. To date the Cowboys have released numerous 'hit' albums, had a beer named after them, appeared at the MTV music awards, and staged two spectaculars with Alexandrov's Red Army Chorus & Dance Ensemble in Helsinki and Berlin. They also drive tractors.
